This is Charel and Tam
I’m normally a man of a few words, but when it comes to writing I really enjoy sharing my adventures with those who like a good story. I’m a photographer, videographer, writer and web/blog developer currently in South Africa and always open to new projects.
I used to be a soldier in the South African National Defence Force, then left to start working as a Dive-Master, that’s the guy that takes you deep in the ocean to look at fish, something like extreme hiking but under water.
Tam is a qualified Yacht-Master and Scuba Diving Instructor, she has also been traveling solo for a number of years and it’s one of the reasons we share common habits and a deep love for the ocean and sailing, which is why we are setting on a sailing adventure soon.
We currently offer private scuba diving courses in Durban, South Africa -for entry level divers looking to gain their first qualification in scuba diving. We have hosted a number of people while on holiday in South Africa, from hiking up the Drakensburg mountains to diving with sharks in Protea banks, we have it all covered and hope to grow our family tree of travellers in the future, so please visit the link below if your interested in your PADI Open Water.
If your interested in traveling or just want to read more about a traveling lifestyle, then give my travel blogs a read as they include advice and travel tips on the destinations I have seen.
My stories involve life on a Kibbutz in Israel, living in a small village in France, being a scuba diving guide on Phi Phi islands -Thailand, riding dirt bikes on the Red Dunes of Namibia, scuba diving with sharks in South Africa, rediscovering my roots in the Netherlands, and a road tripping guide for Southern Africa.
There’s still many more great stories to come and I hope you keep following our story as we have only recently started the planning for our sailing adventure.
